Matteo Imbruno is presently, a reference in the scenery of the baroque music.
It is enough to say he is the titleholder of the Oude Kerk , in Amsterdam, the
church where Sweelinck was the organist in the XVII Century.
Imbruno has participated of the most well know festivals in the main musical centers in Europe, Japan and United States. He has also demonstrated an outstanding activity due to the several masterclasses he has being invited to teach, especially about themes related to the Renaissance and Baroque music. Besides, he has recorded six CDs in several historical organs and has performed recordings for the BBC Radio in London.
Owner of a unquestionable talent, Matteo Imbruno has an even personality,
remarkable presence due to his spontaneity and easiness of communication
with his pupils. It is worthwhile to know and hear what Matteo Imbruno has
to tell about the music which has inspired the greatest musical genius of
our times.
